Where we are and where we are going!
The Omega Task base is located in La Argentina, right outside of Grecia in Costa Rica.
La Argentina is a small, low-income neighborhood that is surrounded by coffee and sugar cane fields.
The majority of our projects are focused within this neighborhood. In this neighborhood, we have a mission house where long-term and short-term volunteers are able to stay.
This facility is also where we run many of our ministries, including kids clubs, youth programs, after school tutoring, women’s Bible studies and pregnancy center.
Seaside Mission: Osa Península.
We are currently pioneering a second location for The Omega Task in the Osa Península area.
After working at the first location for 11 years, Ben, Taja and their kids moved to the south of Costa Rica to be a part of what God is doing to expand The Omega Task.
This year we will receive the first teams to break ground and build a work station in the jungle by the ocean. Maybe you remember that back in 2024 the mission received a donation of 12 acres of land and that’s the location where we will develop a second missionary base for this mission. What is a work station and the purpose of it? The work station is going to be a structure where teams can come and camp under a roof with bathroom facilities. Under that roof we will also have a kitchen area, where we can prepare meals for building teams. The work station is the first step in order to expand the location to be able to host future volunteers and missionary teams.
The vision for this new location includes a training center where we can equip missionaries to be sent to nations that still need to hear the Gospel of Salvation.
We want to encourage you to pray and give towards this project. You can go to GIVE and select the option “Give to the Mission” to support the Seaside Mission.

First Missionary base in Grecia.
The Seaside Mission is located in front of the Golfo Dulce in Osa Península. One of the most biodiverse locations on Earth. All Glory to God!
Golfo Dulce in Osa Península is one of those special places where whales come to deliver their babies. You can see the dolphins jump and the sea turtles cruise.
